MicroView VMS each feature is encapsulated within an individual module. You only need to run the necessary modules for your individual surveillance deployments - thus reducing system resource requirements and minimizing your installation footprint. MicroView VMS software supports an unrestricted number of recording servers. This means the system can scale seamlessly by adding additional recording servers while still providing the users a single-point of access to all cameras across all servers in the entire installation. From small to large, the MicroView VMS is designed to give you what you need and based architecture to enable complete flexibility and customization.

Reliability

To meet the strictest needs for system availability and reliability the product include support for failover of management server, event server and recording server. This ensures continuous operation and minimal video interruption no matter what happens and is ideal when operating business-critical installations. MicroView VMS modules allow you to eliminate single point of failure bottlenecks. Running multiple VMS modules in parallel is the best practice for critical system functions which provides HA (High Availability) when needed. A major design flaw afflicting many competing VMS bundles is to incorporate failover to the low-level applications themselves, our design engineers at MicroView have solved this by elevating the redundancy to the correct controller - not the last link in the chain, aka the VMS app, but rather the host OS itself.
